I have cancel my contract with this company. They refuse to accept it, saying I have to sign their cancellation form. Legally that is not true! As long as they have been notified of your cancellation that is sufficient. Please read the contract carefully. They are charging you a lot of money for what you can do on your own. Call the Dept of Education and settle on a payment arrangement yourself, and you don't have to pay someone else to help with your credit. Avoid this company at all cost. Dept of Edu. will gladly work with you to reduce your payments and/or negotiate your interest rate. Don't pay someone to do something you can easily do. Companies like this feed off people's ignorance.
I used Riverwalk to consolidate my federal student loans and the credit repair program, they were very professional and speedy with the process. I suggest everyone with a federal student loan get into these programs and save a ton of money!!
I got more than 50000 forgiven and my credit repaired for less than 2k. It doesn't get better than that.
If I could give them 0 stars I would they are a complete scam. They rush you into signing a contract stating they want to help you only to charge ridiculous amounts of money and threaten you with the contract and damaging your credit. BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY
they were not able to help me because my student loan was private and then they renigged on giving me a refund for the money that they took. You should not tell your customers that you are going to give a full refund if you are unable to help. They need to work on their policies and their communication as well
