Some money hungry developer build half the properties in a major flood zone: Maribyrnong River (Smart?). The various water authorities really dropped the ball with this relatively new development (corruption or incompetence?). I would be very careful if your not informed about the last flood event and thinking of buying in here. Therefore even if your property is above flood zone I would hate to learn about the body corporate fee to fix the properties damaged in the flood zone. Look it up in the media reports.
