The annual "OYSTERFEST" festival. This was our first time attending this festival—and visiting the park itself—and we arrived anticipating a feast. But, alas! It turned out to be a dismal spectacle of long lines for oysters under the scorching sun. It cost $16 for just six tiny fresh oysters, while the price for grilled oysters remained a mystery. Great atmosphere, natural trail, fishing docks, kids play area and more!
Nice, newly built playground. Path around the playground area with benches under tree shade. There is a porta potty that was clean but no place to wash your hands.
