Submitted my request bang on 8 to get a message at 10 saying no appointments even though urgent and go to hospital when I said I couldn't get there and when I looked up said 13 hrs wait. Ring them they are no help. They dont take concerns seriously when in so much pain and discomfort. Told id recieve a phone call. Asked if it could be for next day as at work and I have no signal. Was then told no they won't ring and if im in pain to go and wait the 12 hrs at hospital.
I’m confused as how this practice is rated as good by the CQC. It is virtually impossible to get an appointment, the phone is never answered and when you do get a response to the online form, the answer is always along the lines of ‘not our job.’ Perhaps by not actually practicing any medicine they are successfully avoiding any scrutiny of care. Suffice to say I have registered elsewhere.
my GP started loudly teasing me in the waiting room about confidential dietary information i only told her last time for medical reasons, and then grasped my arm when i was uncomfortable and trying to leave. Left without a prescription. She tried to get me back in but instead of apologizing she acted like nothing happened with a smile.
They have always listened and helped when it was needed. It's hard to get an appointment, but it is everywhere, but these folks do seem to really care.
