In the late 1980's and early 1990's, Riverside County experienced unprecedented growth and development. The resulting population increase and corresponding land-use activities crowded into the County's remaining open spaces and threatened to eliminate the native landscapes that first attracted newcomers to the region. RecommendedIn order to earn philanthropy hours for the National Charity League, Riverside, my daughter and I joined a group of volunteers this morning to cover graffiti and clean the park.
