They have helped me several times. They have a program called TRIP that helps pay for transportation costs for your volunteer drivers. Also helped me with a washing machine funding when my broke down and I couldn’t afford to replace it. They are always kind and understanding. My thanks to all their staff!
I have not been in the offices but I work with a social worker from this place Carmen Jewell who is one of the finest people I have ever come across in government services. She was able to help me in many ways. I am a 71-year-old senior citizen recovering from a broken neck and she got me the bed and furniture that I have been doing without and gave me direction how to get my utilities under control. I would recommend for any senior citizen to contact and talk to these people.
They NEVER answer the phone. I am disabled and homeless and they have absolutely refused to help me.
