As a wedding photographer, I’m always looking for beautiful, natural backdrops—and River’s Bend Retreat delivered in every way. The redwoods, the river, the open meadows… every corner feels like a fairytale. The light is incredible at all times of day, and there’s such a peaceful, grounding energy to the entire space. It’s the kind of place that makes you slow down and really feel the moment. Can’t wait to come back and capture more love stories here.
What an amazing place. Clean, comfortable, and perfect for personal retreats, or larger groups. The rustic cabins are just above the river, and you can hear it (and the frogs)every evening. The larger accommodations are fully equipped. Gorgeous grounds with a great swimming hole. It's the perfect combination of rustic goodness and northern california hospitality. Cannot recommend it enough!
A place of healing and connection to nature. I have visited several times, and always leave feeling rejuvenated by the beauty of the flora and fauna. It is evident this land is well-loved and stewarded, and the staff are always so warm, welcoming and a delight. 10/10
