Long wait to board, food was not good, overpriced and over crowded. Aside from that you’ll love the cost of the parking (not)!
On the cruise back to where started from. Today is 7 Oct, we are on the 11am cruise with lunch option, party of three. We enjoyed our food, cornbread needed a little extra time in oven and we had sweet tea. We were able to have seconds and desert was bread pudding with bourbon walnut sauce. First off, they ask you to arrive 30 minutes before departure. Fine. But when we got there, they blasted this obnoxious, painfully loud music on repeat every two minutes. It was so deafening I had to put in my concert earbuds just to survive it. If you’re going to make people wait in the heat and direct sun, the least you could do is NOT blast noise that makes people’s teeth ache. Once on the boat, it didn’t get better right away. We are still at berth, 40 minutes after the tour was supposed to have started. Have been told this is normal. So your 2 hour cruise is just over an 1 hour, in reality. This, after standing in the line for 30 minutes in the heat of the sun. no water, shade, nothing. While listening to this tuneless organ -style music, actual music torture! Called calliope.
