My mother spent about a year and a half in the memory care unit here, and it made an enormous difference in her quality of life. All the staff were wonderful — one manager even came to visit her twice during her final days in a hospital, which meant more to our family than words can say. The staff treated residents like family, and there was always something to celebrate, whether it was a resident’s birthday or a staff baby shower. I have never visited river mills although I went to McKinstry's farm stand yesterday and as I pulled in I saw the van which meant an outing. As a certified occupational therapist this made me so happy. The staff was amazing very compassionate and patient…. It was a hot day. The smiles on the residents face priceless. Shout out to all at river mills for engaging in the quality of life for these residents

To Nurse Jen. I called to tell you my father had a stoke. I talked and explained to you everything that happened. You did not interrupt me once. After telling you every instance of where and when this happened she replies. "SORRY YOUR NOT ON THE LIST OF APPROVED PEOPLE TO SPEAK TO I CANT HELP YOU." ITS A VASCULAR STROKE????ONE OF THE MAIN SYMPTOMS OF DEMENTIA. AS A NURSE YOUR SWORN UNDER THE HIPPOCRATIC and you couldnt speak ME?? o HIS SON?? ... to anyone reading this... be very cautious... this will be investigated fully...
