I went to Stan last July with an itemized list for 2022 and 2023. He had told me he would do my taxes for the same amount that my previous CPA was doing it for, in his words, "especially since you did all the work." The price was $250 per year for a total of $500. Not only did it take forever for them to even start them, (many emails apologizing for the delay,) but the fee went up to $750. I had some questions after I did my taxes with TurboTax. Stan spoke with me over the phone and explained everything, and even gave me advice on what was best to do next year. The phone call was free, but if I ever needed more advice I wouldn't hesitate to use them for my tax preparation.

Stan (owner of River CPA) was referred to me by Talon Wealth Management St. Aug. I asked for a paid consultation about some tax-free investments I own and sent him a list of questions.
