It is unfortunate that a small town bank would not offer services to the community in which it is located. Giving change to a non account holder has minimal cost to the bank and it would create a positive interaction with the community resident. Or they could provide the service for a small fee. I will be in the market to open a small business account in the coming weeks, but will no longer consider your bank when doing so.
