Ms. Nikki Parker at the reception desk was always nice to me. My sister was a resident at BG. Ms. Parker was always a friendly face. Thank you, Ms. Parker!
In addition to my original review below- I have read some of the negative reviews and I must disagree with most of the complaints. I know there are always exceptions, but in my husband's case, the staff and nurses as a whole were caring and attentive. They really have nothing for the patients to do. Most workers are on their phones. It’s really sad
Since I have been in Briar Glen I have to say that this is the worst place ever I have seen. From the front door young lady to the people that supposed be manager / nurses are very rude. I never been in a business where people don’t greet you and supposedly be someone in charge only to look at you like you are stupid. The care of the residents is very very poor and talk to them like they are kids / animals and you have one caregiver/ supposed to be like a lead caregiver now she is the one that really talks to them nasty like... read more
My husband has been at this facility for almost two years now. Recently, he was hospitalized and had to be away for a while. Instead of asking to go home, he asked to go back to Briar Glen. This tells me he now thinks of Briar Glen as home. From administration to housekeeping and all in between, this facility is top-notch, in my opinion. The staff and administrators treat their residents and the families of the residents like one of their own. I know my husband is in good hands, which is a blessing to my family and me.
