Terrible management at the pharmacy. This is the third attempt to pick up my sons' prescription only to be told to come back tomorrow. Every time I attempt to pick it up, they give me a date and time it will be ready. Every time, it is not ready. I left this pharmacy years ago because I was tired of being jerked around by these clowns. Years later, they still can't figure out how to handle their business. It’s like it’s everyone who works here’s first job or something. They all have an attitude problem, and are in no rush to help you.
Maybe I am just old school but pharmaceutical is still a customer service industry. Patients don't know the law, they aren't privey to the regulatory strings and hoops that are in place. It is the pharmaceutical and medical practitioners job to take care of these things. Not the patient. Pain pills were prescribed, pain pills were taken, pain pills were refilled, build up of pain pills caused serious and uncomfortable side effect- dr. calls in new prescription, just 2 days after refill. Octavia was very helpful in figuring out my son’s prescription! Pneumonia hit our house hard and she was very understanding and quick to help find a solution! Lots of employees being trained so wait times may be a little longer but whenever I’m helped at this location, they always make sure there’s a resolution and I leave happy! Thank you rite aid pharmacy!
Just get your prescriptions filled elsewhere. Pharmacy staff acts like it’s pulling teeth to help even a little bit and they are so rude it’s crazy. I genuinely feel bad for the pharmacist to have to deal with incompetence so much. I hope he finds a better job.
