The pharmacy went above and beyond for us and my son's medication. When the hospital dropped the ball they came through. We will continue to use this pharmacy they really saved the day.
I've never had a bad experience at the pharmacy, and I get a medication that is required to have a pre-authorization before it can be filled. Every other Pharmacy has given me issues, but not this one. The staff are super friendly, helpful, and sincere in their pursuit to be a great phamacist and I applaud them and also suggest maybe a raise because they always look just crazy busy and they still have a smile on their face and manage the time to answer questions. This store in Frackville, PA has a very capable and dedicated manager with a long history at this location. Unfortunately, Rite Aid is closing this store, which will be a great loss to the community. Corporate decisions like this one do not take into account the very critical needs of their customers in an aging population. It is far easier to close a marginal location than to address the underlying factors of merchandise mix and ancillary services that might turn things around. Pharmacy staff friendly and helpful. Store associates need more customer service training. I'm not acknowledged whenever I come in the store and I'm of color. They never ask me if I need help when I'm looking around. They don't talk to me when I'm checking out as well. Unless I start a conversation. If not for convenience I would not shop this location. I gave 1 star for the friendly pharmacy team!
