Rite aid needs to actually attempt to give a damn about this store, their employees, and most importantly their customers. Horribly managed pharmacy, which I attribute to lack of staff; and while I take pity on the pharmacy techs, it has impacted/deprived my father of his critical medication for several days over several occurrences. Impossible to reach via phone, attempting to use the mailing service has resulted in lost/delayed medication twice. Rite aid is getting better. It used to have terrible wait times and employees that were overwhelmed. I went there last week and only waited a few minutes and the person that filled my order was friendly and efficient. I went there today (a Monday at 4 pm) and the cashier was friendly and no wait again! I hope it keeps up!
I know a lot of people have had bad experiences here. But I came on a Tuesday at around 2:30. Even with 4 people in front of me I was in and out within Ten minutes. The lady at the desk mentioned that they were finally caught up and hopefully things will run more smoothly... I'll see how things go next time I'm there.... Only issue was that my cat needed the prescription right away and I didn't hear anything from them for 2.5 days about it...
