My husband got an automated phone call from the Wexford Rite Aid that his prescription was ready for pickup. He went to the store two hours later and was told it wasn't ready. When he said he had received the automated call, the technician told him "oh you can never trust those" and said he should have called the store himself to confirm that the medication was ready. They then put his prescription "in the cue" and made him wait nearly 30 minutes until it was ready. What sort of patient care is this?
Julie is an amazing pharmacist, and she has handled all of our family's medications for over 20 years. She is kind, thorough and accommodating, even when she is put in untenable situations with very limited support staff. We come there for her. Lately, the store shelves have been nearly bare most of the time, which I assume is due to the financial difficulties that the company is having, so I don't count on getting many other things. We will continue to use the pharmacy as long as Julie is there.
Always very nice, and always willing to help, even take me to the item I'm looking for instead of just pointing, like other stores do
I needed to find a product for a relative who is in hospice care nearby. When I called them, one staff person found one in stock. But when I got to the store I couldn’t find it, so a couple team members worked to find it for me. It was a very small item, but critical for our needs, and I’m very grateful for their help and concern.
