Couples massage. The receptionist lacks basic customer service skills, the “beverage” that was offered was nothing more than warm tap water, & she tried to over charge me by almost $100 & then demanded tip. When I said something about the price difference in before walking into the massage room vs coming out to leave, she said “oh, so sorry, I forgot you price”. Soooo relaxing! Will be back!
Risen Day Spa has gone downhill under the new management. The rooms are filthy, the bathrooms are always out of hand soap, and the atmosphere is far from relaxing. During our couples massage, the staff talked, laughed, and giggled with each other the entire time. This wasn’t a one-time issue — it’s happened multiple times. People go to spas to unwind and relax, not to feel like they’re in a noisy break room. What really pushed it over the edge: the sheets weren’t even changed.
