It was our first time shopping at Riley’s. We were in the market for a new sofa and recliner. Bruce Hauser was great to work with, he worked within our stated budget, gave us space for us to look, and gave my wife helpful input on fabric type/colors to fit our basement & made a suggestion for a recliner after we had picked a couch. We have been shopping at Riley’s for as long as I can remember. Each time we are met with knowledgeable and patient employees. This weekend was no different. When I went in with a VERY difficult request to order items that weren’t even in the showroom yet, the staff went above and beyond to make it happen. If someone didn’t know an answer, they asked someone else to make sure they had it right. I sat back, put my feet up in a recliner and waited for them to get it done. Sales people were swarming and overly aggressive. It was completely unpleasant and I will not be buying furniture there. Yes, it's Monroe, Ohio. Business culture is led from management. My advice is this place may be great if you're looking for someone to babysit you while looking for furniture. Morris Home furnishing in Springdale was much more laid back and had a better selection.
We had a great experience picking out couches at Riley‘s furniture. Bruce Hauser Is excellent to work with, and we appreciate his expertise on finding the right fit for our room. I would highly recommend them!
They are the BEST !! Their service department is AMAZING Michelle and Jeff !! We will never buy furniture from anywhere else again !
