I reached out to Ridout to purchase slab materials. Josh answered the phone and was incredibly helpful. Great service with fast answers! They scheduled the delivery of the material for 2 days later. I called the next day and asked if we could just pick up the material to start the work sooner. Josh answered said yes and they would have it ready. Ridout hires out subcontractors who take shortcuts and place bandaids on jobs they “complete.” These shortcuts/bandaids later cause expensive problems for the homeowner that Ridout does not take responsibility for even when they admitted what was done incorrectly. They are also terrible about getting back to you when they say they will. As a nurse, if I did my job the way Ridout does theirs, people would be injured or dead. Service has gone down hill. Went into this location looking for pocket door frames and was told to walk out back to the building behind there to see what they had in stock. What they had was a bunch of broken frames with missing parts. So walked back in and all they could say after me doing their jobs was ok so do you need one or not.
Don’t get cabinets here. My job was supposed to be complete mid October. It’s now January, and still having issues. Big regrets. Missing vent hood, drawer fronts, hardware, upper cabinets. Excuse after excuse and no accountability. Lots of pretending they are so sorry and working on it and will handle it.
