My friend is the guardian for a 94 year old senior who has been at Ridgewood for about 6 months. While the facility is clean and the staff are typically pleasant and professional, there are some major negatives. Personal items get "lost", clothing, new comforters, and niceties that were bought to make the room aesthetically pleasing. Ridgewood Senior Living at Historic Smithville is a beautiful place, it’s in a beautiful community and the people who work in the building are amazing people who really care about their residents inside and out. They have many events for the community to enjoy and i think it’s a great asset to the area, please go in and visit the building.

The real heart and soul of this facility is the activities director Mrs. Ayesha Letson, she cares and provides for the residents as if they were family. Her dedication, creativity, and genuine care for the residents shine through in everything she does. The activities she organize are not just fun and engaging, they’re meaningful. There’s always something for residents look forward to.
