Rehab services excellent until last 2 weeks when a PT left. Nurses aides were excellent especially Bianca and Kefeya. Food was atrocious. My swallowing restrictions on menus and sent food it clearly stated I could not eat. Cereal often stale, food arrived cold and if heated often time inedible. Listen at resident meeting but nothing changes. My wife sent food in and ate mostly sandwiches and could not always get them right. Feel sorry for folks who cannot advocate for them selves. My sister has been at Ridgewood since 2023 on their memory care floor. The staff have been so attentive to her even when she's being a little "peppy." I am very comfortable knowing that she is being well taken care of since I physically couldn't do it anymore.
My Uncle has been to Ridgewood a few times in the last few years for rehab, he is currently here. Asander is wonderful he takes great care of my uncle. he has been in a private room every time he has come to the center I would recommend them over and over again.
My father went here for rehab. He was here for 5 days. The staff tries hard, but the care is not present. I'm not sure if it was low staffing levels. The food is similar to elementary school cafeteria food (terrible). He got a bill in the mail for $12,000, which was clearly incorrect. He had to leave for medical reasons. Ironically, he is at another Genesis facility now, and that facility is amazing!
My grandfather has been in here for 2 months and I called a few times the last few days no one will answer and when they do answer they will transfer you before you can say anything. I’m not impressed at all do not recommend!!!!😡
