I purchased a RideKick probably 10 years ago. I was quite impressed with my RideKick's ability to actually get out and ride when I was too fat to ride. But since then I have become even more impressed with the company's attention to detail in the quality of their product. Even more than that, I am noticing the attention to detail in the customer service they provide. I have had a few times that I needed an accessory or part replacement. They have always gone out of their way to make sure that I am getting exactly what I need... read more

I received my Ride kick Trailer on Thursday the 8th of April. I assembled it and charged up the battery and took it off my first ride with it. The only issue I had was my placement of the throttle. Once that was resolved, it was fun ride. I was careful getting the feel for it, not pushing to too hard. I have over 22,000 miles on E-Bikes so plenty comfortable with powered bikes. Wife and I are in our seventies and after her back surgery we were unable to ride our tandem recumbent trike. Ridekick changed all that for us. Now we are able to get the exercise we need with very low impact. It's like swimming without getting wet. They have very good customer service too!

Not only does this power-assist trailer adapt itself to every bike, upright and recumbent, at a reasonable cost, but it has the best tech support that I have ever experienced, from Mark Winger, CEO, who is always available for my calls, even when he was vacationing in New Zealand. And he let me test of the new LiPO4 battery, which is twice as big and costs half as much.

I've owned a Ridekick trailer since 2013. It's an amazing device! I bought it to give me a boost when I don't want a workout (esp commuting) but when I do want a workout I detach it from my recumbent bike. Don't think you're getting an e-bike - you still have to pedal and work a bit, but the RK contributes more than its weight. I recommend you get the best, lightest battery, for best performance - well worth the cost. The RK takes a beating on our bumpy roads, but it has served me well for almost eight years, with only minor... read more
