The staff are amazing! I am not a resident, my mother is though and can’t imagine her living anywhere else. Today, I fell outside and because I am disabled, was struggling to get up. Eric came right away and was very obviously skilled in handling a crisis. Thank God for him, he was patient and really helped me get up on my feet again. Although embarrassing, he made me feel like it was ok and he would be sure I would get back on my feet right away. I am so thankful he was near me.
Absolutely fabulous assisted living home and tremendous staff. Lianne and her crew rate an 11+/10. My family is SO grateful to Rideau
My sister moved in about 3 years ago and we cant say enough about how friendly the staff are, the condition of the room and the quality of the food. Oh and the fellow neighbours are great too!
My wife and I moved my father into Rideau on a respite basis as he needed to come to the lower mainland for an eye operation. He did not want to move but we assured him it was only until he recovered. He was 86 and living on his own in Penticton. Within a week dad said he really loved Rideau, the people, the staff, the food and the activities. The Rideau staff were very accommodating and gave us a furnished room at a very reasonable rate. We participated in their open house here and it was an amazing experience. Staff and everyone are super friendly and make you feel so welcome. Met a lot of the seniors here and they shared how much they like living here.
