Very unpleasant experience overall. We were approached right after parking by the IGA staff member who warned us that the parking area was for customers only, which we understood and followed by entering the store to shop. After making a purchase of a pack of chewy mints, another staff member insisted that we leave immediately, despite us wanting to continue browsing MORE goods in their store. Staff not welcoming to tourists. Won’t be visiting Richmond again thanks to IGA experience. Signs in car park say it is for paying customers only. That’s fair for a small town. So, went in & spent $15. However, staff then came out to car park & DEMANDED we vacate car park immediately? Sign doesn’t say parking ONLY for as long as you shopping. Happy to take tourist money but then force them out of car park? Not very welcoming or reasonable if not being upfront.
