As a former RISD student and multi-decade resident of the area, I can't believe how much has changed in negative ways at the RISD. RISD and Dallas County taxes are due on the same day. I mailed my property tax payments for the RISD and Dallas County on the same day, didn't have any issues with Dallas County, and was told by the RISD that I must pay an almost $700 late fee for my payment arriving ONE DAY LATE. Pure greed
This office doesn’t do car registrations or change of car titles, but they were so kind and helpful gave me the information to the correct place!
Been requesting a refund on overpayment of taxes for 5 months and still have not received reimbursement. Every time I talk to them, they say next week we will do this or that. If I worked like this, I would no longer have a job. And I work for the state! Guess little tax offices get to make their own rules
