My sister and I went there for the row x row quilting pattern. He doesn't offer the free patterns, only the kits that you have to buy if you want the pattern. So that's kind of lame.

Found this fabric shop about 3 years ago. Needed white linen to make a suit for a wedding I was invited to. Walked in and absolutely was in love with Richard and ALL his wonderful fabric. He KNOWS his fabric. You want it he has it.
Love this place told the lady we have been 2.2 second to get the row by row I did not leave the counter and $98 k have not been back in California for 19 years but I have to say this is a highlight of my trip I wish I could order from here thanks

He is a sweetheart and has the happiest fabric collection. I am a collector of fabric and wannabe quilter. His store was my 1st ever Real fabric store. He explained the Row by Row experience, since I was there to collect a kit for a friend. He let me wander, fondle and giggle in his rows of fun and happy fabrics. Richard's fabric has been in Alta Loma as long as I have lived here which is 40 years this October. It was wonderful becausee back then it was mostly orange groves and grape vineyards. He is very knowledgeable about fabrics, carries Christmas fabric all year. Richard is always very helpful, never pushy just let's you look and feel as long as you like. If you are in the area and a quilter, home Dec, or fashion sewer, you should stop in.
