We loved our experience at the Richard Rogers Theater. We had great seats! It was our first Broadway play and we were not disappointed. The ushers were very helpful and friendly. The performance of “Hamilton” was wonderful. We can’t wait for our next opportunity to see live performances on Broadway.
The show was exceptional. The theater seating is tight, but expected. If it wasn’t for the terrible drinks I would’ve given 5 star if the $40 drinks were drinkable. I had a margarita (double) that tasted like seltzer. It wasn’t drinkable. I get prices are high in NY and don’t mind paying for things, but they should be consumable. I’ve been to other theaters and never had bad drinks before.
Just left a performance as a chaperone for a school group. I was physically shoved put the side exit door because I tried to go back in to get one of the kids so they weren't separated. Also had a handicap child. Theatre says it is handicap accessible. It is NOT.
We recently traveled approximately 6000 miles to see Hamilton and several other performances in NYC. The trip was a dream come true, and seeing Hamilton on 3/25/2026 was a highlight. The performance itself was extraordinary. However, the experience at the theater was frustrating because we were seated directly in front of a large group of school-aged children, probably on a school field trip.
