I’ve financed my last several mortgages through SECU, and each time Mr Meckel has been my loan officer! This last time was most challenging since it was new construction and the builder was providing $7K to use their lender. Keeping this story short, not only did we get a better deal even with the $7K handicap, we had an additional 2.25 points advantage on the loan plus almost an entire percentage point lower loan rate!!!!!
