I’ve suffered with an irrational fear of wasps for many years and as we yet again approached that part of the summer where they are everywhere, I googled and found Richard as a local hypnotherapy option to try and do something about it. I asked Richard to help me tackle weight loss. His calm understanding manner, and his insightful questioning and suggestion, reframed my view of myself and the root of my problems. What I thought would be a session in which a magic wand would be waved when in a trance and I would simply be told “you no longer like chocolate”, became a nuanced and skilful examination of me as a person.
