First met him four years ago while shopping in apalachicola for souvenirs and walked into his gallery. The way he captures people is truly remarkable. As he wrapped up the prints I purchased, he told me stories about the people in them. I see them everyday in my house and it reminds me of the history and culture of an area I love. It’s probably time for me to add to my collection! Truly beautiful art at accessible prices for anyone. Highly recommend you check out his work.

Made an unplanned visit to Richard's Gallery in Apalachicola and have been replaying the photos in my head ever since. Started a collection of his photos while there that capture the culture of the area that is near to my heart. As a fellow world traveler, Richard has a gift of capturing the essence and heart of the "real" culture.

One of the most talented photographers I’ve ever had the privilege to meet and see his incredible work. His genuine demeanor is so refreshing, especially when you are surrounded by TRUE ART. I love all of his work. From his photography through his international travels to his collection of “local love” for the Apalachicola River, the surrounding Franklin county communities (including local residents, oystermen/fishermen) AND of course, the Forgotten Coast landscape, he creates pure masterpieces through his camera lens.
