This clinic has saved my wife's life. We have never had an issue that didn't get their immediate attention. With mental illness, it takes time to find the right mixture of meds. It's never a quick fix. They have been wonderful to my wife and I can't thank them enough. I have recommended them on several occasions to family and friends and have never had a bad experience.
Because of the doctors at this clinic, I was able to confront my panic attacks, anxiety disorder, and depression and actually leave my home without being a nervous wreck! These doctors listen to you and treat according to your specific needs. When something isn't working, they change it until they find something that will. They didn't take my problems lightly or tell me that "it was all in my head" like my general practitioner did. I highly recommend this clinic to anyone!
I would not recommend this place. My daughter has been going here and they have no idea what they are doing. First of all, when you hear hoof beats, think horses, not zebras. They think zebras, and downgrade from there. It's the diagnosis of the week with them. They are clearly in it for the money.
I called because I am very distress and need someone to talk to. Instead of getting a compassionate person who answered the phone. I got cut off and told with a harsh and non compassionate tone that they are not accepting any more medicare patients and that is didn't matter is my medicare was primary or secondary. This person could have least not sounded so annoyed that I called...Even if I payed cash I wouldn't go here just from talking to whoever answered the phone I can tell they don't care about anything but money...
My daughter has been going there for over a year. They took a beautiful, funny, smart young woman and turned her into an overweight, depressed old woman who has no joy in life. They just keep shoving more and different types of pills down her throat. Unfortunately, she's over 21, (she's 24), so I have no say in her "mental health" care. SHE HAS PANIC ATTACKS, and they're treating her for everything but that. I wish I'd never heard of the Rice Clinic.
