Mike and Cheryl the owners of Igloo Skates are such amazing people. Our family is new to the skating world and we are so happy we were told to come to this figure skating shop by our daughter’s coach. Im new to the figure skating community and as an adult with no background or idea in skate fitting I needed a professionals opinion and advice. Igloo Skates is by far the best figure skating shop in the area. Mike is very thorough and knowledgeable with the sport- from skate fitting to sharpening- he knows it all! Cheryl is extremely kind, and also very patient and fully prepared to help with any questions you may have. If you are in search for new skates, sharpening, or any accessories; I highly recommend this establishment.
Mike at Igloo skates is always on top of anything I need! I stated skating as an adult 2 years ago and igloo garentees that I know exactly what I need for success! If your looking for new skates or looking to get your current skates looked at this is the place to go!!
Because I only looked at times opened I had no idea they were an appointment only business, the door was locked but they came out and took us in and instead of turning us away, they took time to fit my daughter for the appropriate skate. The knowledge was amazing and the customer service was even better. Thank you for your kindness and understanding.
