Did a monsoon storm chasing workshop with Robert. It was awesome and so much fun as well as an adrenaline rush at times. He and his team know how to get you to the right place at the right time. I came back with at least a dozen amazing lightning shots.

I was hooked when I saw “Storm Chasing” in the description, and I was NOT disappointed! The classwork was informative and practical, and by the end I felt like I had the skills and confidence to go storm chasing on my own. The instructors were extremely knowledgeable, patient, and helpful—even with my “dumb” questions! And then there were the storms… WOW!!! I attended Robert's lightning photography workshop and was astounded at the depth of information you come away with after just 3 days. Other, similar workshops merely give you the basics and aim to get you some nice shots. Robert's class gets you the shots but goes into detail about the science of storms, forecasting, in-field decision making, camera settings, and so much more. As I sit around my Sedona pool, beer in hand, I am reflecting on a great experience with Rob. It’s the first time I have ‘chased’ a storm and when those bolts throw it’s a great adrenaline rush. Learned a hell of a lot in a short period of time.Particularly thanks also to Jim, the calm to Rob’s storm (pun intended!) and new boy Nick who also had great enthusiasm. All in all a great team.
