My purpose when I called this firm, was to find out about their monthly bookkeeping and tax preparations service as advertised on google. I represent someone who owns multiple partnerships and has outgrown their current situation. If I cannot talk directly to the CPA, the plan would be to set up a call or schedule a virtual meeting so we can discuss specifics and learn about their pricing structure. Called the location and SPECIFICALLY ASKED if they were taking new clients just to be told yes and set up an appointment. Was sent a new client form and everything just to be called 24 hours later and be told “oh yeah we actually aren’t taking new clients till mid October do you want me to just move you to a month after your scheduled meeting?” Glad I didn’t send any of my sensitive documents like I was prompted to do right away.
