Our mother died in palliative care here. The staff were completely unqualified to make her last days comfortable. I’ve waited to write this review because I was so angry about her care and I was grieving. It was filthy and completely disorganized. Some nurses were actually mean to my mom even knowing they were on camera. We paid nearly $6000 including her extras”. The doctor wrote the wrong date on her death certificate. Know a senior who was living here and got neglected and they felt so unsafe that we had to get help and kept an eye on them all the time. Even though I can’t disclose personal information, I can say for sure that this place has a team (both workers and high-up employees) that does not put any empathy or care at their priority, when receiving concerns they will try to protect their staff/the company instead of going to the family and listening to their concerns. Hello I would like to recommend venvi valley stream. I was there for a respite stay, March to April of 2025. All was top notch. Liz accepted with very short notice ,as my operation date came up quickly. All staff were super, from management, Jason, front end, Tammy, super friendly while multi-tasking, as well as blessing, Colleen, Susan, other departments, Nancy, Virginia, Karen, Lola, Mindy, Curtis, Chedy, Patrick, Jenny, all the rest restaurant staff, kitchen staff who had to make multiple meal requests. I highly recommend Venvi Valley Stream. I find the staff to be very diligent, compassionate, and caring. The facilities are well-designed and very accessible. Social events for those wanting to participate are interesting and fun. In addition, the meals are excellent, with the kitchen always doing a good job. And importantly, management is always very supportive and attentive should any suggestions or concerns arise.
