Since new ownership the condition of the residence has seem to have worsened. Staff seem to be more irritable and less attentive as well since. Shout out to those few staff going above and beyond as usual. Ownership needs to remind staff they are assisting those who can no longer assist themselves. Additionally please up the cleanliness standards back to their original quality as it is evident they have fallen.

My sister resided at The Meadows in Ancaster for 2 years before her death yesterday at age 89. Her treatment there was outstanding. The staff was so compassionate and considerate to her and our family. The experience was culminated this morning by the arrival of the funeral director to transport my sister covered in what they call a "care shroud" and she was given an "Honor Guard" as she was taken down the hallway bordered by the staff and residents as she was taken to the funeral vehicle.
