My dad spent almost 4 years at Reachview village. Even though he had dementia and was not always the most pleasant person, the staff went above and beyond to make his stay pleasant. When my dad passed away on Jan 21,22 the emotions of everyone could be felt. I will miss the happy people I would see when I went to visit. If I am ever in need of a nursing home again they will be the top of my list.
I was a nurse at Reachview for almost 10 years. I saw some ups and downs which is fair and normal in these kind of health settings. Presently I work in a similar health care setting here in Toronto and I wished so many times if I had the team from Reachview. The care that was provided, staffs attitude towards residents were well known and respected. For me every home should have staffs like we had at Reachview. All the best and you guys will be always in my heart.
