Prince of Wales has been home to my dad just over 2 years. As the primary care provider I have felt supported, heard and that I am part of the Prince of Wales family. All the staff are kind and generous with providing a welcoming environment! My dad is very happy living with supportive in independent living. I have become a volunteer to support seasonal decor installations and craft /baking projects. I am continually grateful for finding Prince of Wales.

Dad lived here a full year 2024 getting care from some very lovely front line staff. The physical building needs improving but is older. The ED Jennifer was very supportive especially as Dad’s needs changed.

Please, please think twice if you are considering this retirement residence. Very poorly managed, understaffed, dirty, food terrible but most of all the care for residents is far from adequate. No showers, leave residents not dressed in the morning or ready for bed at night, call bell response time terrible with waits over 26 minutes at times. Only two PSW’s and one RPN on staff at night and one PSW is for the memory care wing only. My father was only there for a month and a half….we couldn’t get him out fast enough. They so... read more

My mom has been at the Manor for about 14 months. She has moderate dementia and has really benefited from the help of the staff who are very engaged and with the other residents who are always sociable and inclusive. The Activities Coordinator, Kathleen, does a wonderful job of providing multi-layered events with music, and themed decorations multiple times each week. Every morning there is at least one and often two fitness classes, and afterwards, there is a coffee break with muffins in the dining room that allows the resi... read more
