Poor communication, between Physio staff to the head nurse and PSW's regarding a residents care plan, With this the resident does not receive the physio which was promised to family. Cameras do not work, So if there is an incident they can not see what happened, Other than this it is bright clean place . good size rooms and good meals . Two PSW's looking after mom, do show compassion, empathy and care . I feel communication is key in residents care plan between all staff. and residents family. The experience and thorough care given to the residents with total empathy is what I saw at Elmwood Place.
Would rate this place a 1/5 at best. Complete neglect and utter lack of compassion for residents and it all begins with the management staff. Does this place ever get visited by the Health & Safety Board?
