Wonderful, caring, supportive, kind and very friendly staff.
It became very apparent this year that mom needed help with her meals, medication and overall well being. She had been living alone and was very isolated - especially since covid. Arnprior Villa has provided my mom with the utmost care and kindness. Mom is social again and around people which is such a blessing. She even has a friend that she has known since high school living at the Villa as well. As a family we have peace of mind knowing that mom is well fed and well taken care of.
Although the Arnprior Villa may not be well known in the Ottawa area, the Arnprior Villa is a “Hidden Gem” of a retirement home providing an outstanding level of care, customer service and compassion across all areas of staff (Nurses, PSWs, Reception, Food Preparation, Cleaners, Maintenance staff, Activity Coordinators, etc.) My mother will be celebrating her 100th birthday next month and has been a resident of the Arnprior Villa for the last 4 years. We placed my brother-in-law, who suffers from Dementia/Alzheimer's at Arnprior Villa, less than a month ago. He is very happy to be living there and tells me that the food is great! The staff are all wonderful and accommodating to individual needs. We chose this retirement home as they allow pets and charge a reasonable monthly rate. We haven't yet moved the little dog in, but bring him by for frequent visits. The place is bungalow style which is a huge bonus for everyone.
