I was extremely lucky that a friend referred me to Zee at Return to Form for pre and post prostatectomy Physio and I have no doubt that this has greatly helped and hastened my recovery. Zee has carefully, positively and kindly coached me through the first eight weeks post op and my progress is very encouraging after an unexpected diagnosis and procedure. Don't hesitate to seek her support so you can prepare for surgery and take control of your own recovery afterwards.
Today I feel that there is hope in my situation. I'm very thankful and grateful.
Really happy with the improvement in my mobility to the injury I had for more than 8 months. I was willing to try anything, so I gave the shockwave treatment a try, and it works for me so I highly recommended, and Ruairi, my physio, is amazing .
I managed to hurt my trapezius to a point that meant I had to go to the A&E where they x-ray'd me, and gave me opiates to cope - essentially one of the worst and long-lastings pains I've ever experienced, at the worst time of year over christmas/new years. Initially I booked myself with Ruairi because he was the only appointment available within 10 days or so from the next closest one available in the city - I'm really glad I landed with him.
