Wish they were clear about when bike shop is closed but café is open. Waljed all the way here with kids bike flat tire only to discover not only can’t they do repair- they can’t even sell me intestine. Too bad I can’t fix my tire with a cappuccino!

I was so impressed today with their customer service - tube for the tire of Thule chariot (bike stroller) replaced on-the-spot within minutes. Great explanation from the employee, Jason, and fair pricing. Thanks Retro-Rides!

I went in and begged them for the most expensive Appaloosa they had and they refused to sell him to me even though I offered to pay in Aztec gold. I went away and spent years training—swimming across the English Channel, the Panama, Lake Como, and the Nile. I went back and laid down on their floor, demonstrating my superb technique—even my now world-famous backstroke. Bike shop: two guys are really nice and helpful, the others either mansplain or literally ignore you then don’t get up to help you. Coffee shop: Even flavour maxxing doesn’t hide the fact that the coffee just isn’t good. But luckily for them Sparks is touristic and Ottawa is forever stuck in this brand of hipsterdom.
