I came to Resurgent with foot pain that prevented me from doing my favorite activities - power walking, running, playing golf. Another orthopedic clinic recommended that I just stop doing what causes me pain. Not Resurgent. Alex Livengood was very thoughtful and encouraging while working with me on identifying the cause of pain and helping me to return to my physical activities pain-free.
Alex was a fantastic PT! Incredibly thorough, communicative, and answered all of my questions about the recovery process. I’m ready to return to running and basketball pain free and stronger than ever!

I have relied on Resurgent for many years during my triathlon career. It is invaluable to find a PT that you trust and understands sports injuries. Most recently I worked with Dr. Alex regarding a swimming injury, and she was amazing! She offered a lot of exercises to help with both my shoulder and lower back to get me back in the water quickly. Highly recommend Resurgent and especially Dr. Alex!
I grew up excelling in multiple sports, staying uninjured, winning championships, and breaking records throughout high school.
