There is a fundamental disconnect between leadership sitting behind desks and the army of caregivers doing the real work. Within any workplace with this type of toxic culture, there will be negative outcomes related to morale, employee retention, attracting new talent and serving the mission of the organization. This starts at the top with the CEO/Board and then ripples into the pond that is Maplewoods.
Should've communicated the rejection instead of letting me guess and wait. One star for lack of professionalism :)
My grandmother lived here for a little over a year, spending time initially in the main section then in the dementia unit. She absolutely loved living there, made many friends, and said the staff treated her like family. I saw first hand the great treatment everyone gave her while she was there, and I would recommend this family in a heartbeat.
