You should tell all your clients you re not an IME, as in Independent doctor. You get paid by WorkCover and write reports for them. I have seen over 12000 clients and can attest that if you were an IME you would give the report to the patient and offer care to that patient. maybe read this again before seeing more patients: Australian Medical Association (AMA) Code of Ethics and the Medical Board of Australia's 's Good Medical Practice code of conduct. I didn't really know what a pre employment medical was but the staff explained everything to me and answered my questions. Overall not a horrible experience.
Absolutely disgusted with the Dr's report and the length of time it's taken to have the report amended. I lodged a formal complaint to the clinic and to WorkCover . What an utter lack of integrity and professionalism from this female Occupational Physician. I have also contacted Ahpra regarding this matter. How disgusting to have this go on week after week. Beware of these Doctors they are on the insurance gravy train and the ones paying are the ones that are injured.
Worst doctors appointment of my life , waited 1.5 hours for a CBM and still not seen in that time. Obviously they only value their own time and no one elses. People coming in after me were seen before me . I can’t rate this business low enough
