Thank you for being so pleasant and easy going and for sharing the passion for your work with us. Rescue Slabs were very patient with us allowing us to test multiple stains and leg designs for our dining table until we found what we felt was the best. He also split the payments so we could comfortably pay for the table as we work progressed. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend anyone who asks me where to go for custom made furniture.
We look at 100 dining tables but could not find one that met our needs and we heard about Rescue Slabs and after meeting with John, decided to move forward with him. We are OVER THE MOON with our table! It is made from beautiful, recovered wood, which was stained to match our new cabinets, as well as have soft edges so that flying little kids wouldn't get hurt on. John is an amazing artisan and provided us with a beautiful family treasure. HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend!
Really nice people, great to work with and variety of services! I brought them oddly-sized wood I had milled to be kiln dried, trimmed and planed for a project of my own. John is very knowledgeable and detail oriented, sets appropriate expectations, and meets deadlines perfectly. They also do milling, have a variety of slabs and hardwoods, and do custom pieces.
