Terrible- cancelled service and they’re now attempting to collect a $30 container pick up fee. Do not use this company.
The mobile home park that I have resided in for the last 2 1/2 years is contracted through Republic Services. Within the last few months of me adding on a recycling bin, they have missed my recycling pick up twice now, and I set my cans side by side at the end of my drive. They have picked up my trash, and deliberately missed my recycling. I have called recently, and received a message back stating "they don't come back through mobile home parks for missed pick ups." They never answer. Emptied one of my two cans
We have been using Republic for well over 10 years here in Kalamazoo, MI and I cannot remember having any problems with them. Both of our cans have worn out and have big cracks in them now so I just called and had a pleasant experience with a very helpful representative. I was able to reach somebody in less than one minute and she was very helpful and promised that our cans would be replaced in about one week.
Republic is by FAR the WORST waste management company and should go out of business. We contacted them for commercial trash services and they sent an agent out to our house to figure out a spot to place the bin. They missed our first scheduled day to place a bin and then pushed us out another week. Then after we finally received the bin, another driver decided that our yard was too much of a liability, and just took our bin without contacting us and telling us why.
