I miss waste management. These guys are awful, good luck getting on the phone or answers for your questions. I’ve lived here for the last decade, I’ve always had two cans. They came and took both the other week, when I finally (by the savior of God) got into contact with them they had no idea why they did that. Republic supplied rental roll off dumpsters through La Plata County Colorado's program for the October 2025 Flood Victims in Vallecito Colorado. It is my humble opinion that Republic is fraudulently charging overweight charges to the individuals that have called upon their services. I know of several residences that only filled the dumpsters to the top with wood debris from the flood that were then charged overage fees. I was directed to the Bloomfield office by the Durango office; I've made several calls to them and left messages and called again this morning and each time I have been hung up on. Our trash at our business location has not been picked up in weeks and the trash is overfilled.

This is the first year Republic has serviced the RV park here in Vallecito and they have missed more pickups than Waste Management did the last two seasons combined. We are going into Week 3 without a pickup. All 4 dumpsters are full. There is nowhere for anyone to put their trash and bears have started to make their way into the park putting everyone at risk. They don't know anything every department doesn't do their job. Multiple problems getting my trashcan on time and getting it picked up. Random fees, and after I canceled and paid what was due on time they give me a late fee a month later which I had to resolve through them but then send me a 10 cent bill because they didn't want to cover the whole late fee for a payment that was never late.
