Walked into branch and ask the counter persons (Nicole S. who was training another woman Hermione I think her name was) is Fulton Bank did currency exchanges and if there was a fee. I was asked if I was a customer (I was) and told there was not a fee. I told them I had bills and coins, to which they responded, unless they are wrapped Fulton does not accept loose coins. I literally just walked in there. It's 9:23 a.m. they opened at 9. I was the only person in there with 6 workers. I said I needed to talk to someone about opening a bank account and the lady said they all where busy and I have to make an appointment online to come in when I'm literally in the building already! Make it make sense. Nobody is in there, no one on the phone but y'all busy? TD Bank would NEVER! Thank you for treating me like that. Just happy they showed the real them before I trusted my money there.
We decided to transfer our money to our online savings ( higher rates) which said it could take 3 days. I got an email Friday while I was away that it went through. The bank is closed Sunday. I went in Monday to close the account and was told I owed $6 since my balance went below $100. No explanation mattered to them. I understand their rules but feel that was a little ridiculous. Just a warning to others- get your money out and close the account at the same time.
Matt and the staff helped me out and for that I’m thankful. Sorry to see so many friends and employees suffering through this current mess.
