Friendly and courteous staff. Great online banking app. Mobile alerts are kind of useless...they arrive in my text inbox usually a day or two after the transaction. My other bank sends alerts before I get out of their parking lot! Three complaints: not a fan of their business hours...closing at 4pm isn't relevant to today's business climate. I’ve been banking with republic bank for a few years now and haven’t had any major problems with them. Their app is convenient but slow at times for showing transactions. If you start a credit builder with them make sure to keep an eye on the payment before the due date. Don’t rely on them to make sure that payment comes out automatically.
RecommendedDO NOT BANK HERE! My card has been declined three times now, two times for being in states with "high crime" , in which I learned you cant spend over 50.00 without the card declining and once for....who knows?? This bank has put me in many predicaments due to their cutting off my card so much and not having a phone line after hours to call for help.
